Climb on up and lets embark on a journey through the beautiful wilderness of the North, captured through the many camera lenses of Mike Robin. Join us as we witness first hand, the day to day operations of the North's legendary Ontario Northland Railway. Ready to go? Well, put on your bug spray because we're heading North!
I look forward to hearing from you.

A major traffic artery which funnels traffic into Cochrane was temporarily shut down over the weekend (with proper detours in place) as ONR Infrastructure crews replaced ties and rails across the always busy Third Avenue crossing. Here we see ONR's Harsco Mark IV Production/Tamper rolling over the newly installed track, lining and tamping everything into it's proper position Sept. 20, 2025. #track
I stumbled across an early tie down on one of the chain cars at Cochrane Yard September 13th, 2025 for the following day's 423 Polar Bear. The truck belongs to ONR's Facilities Department. #rla_theyards #trb_express #daily_crossing #ontarionorthland #cochraneontario
